Amanda Nicole English1301 1/25/2012 The earlier memory I harbor is of moving to Texas at shape up 13. The twenty-four hour period before I left, all my friends got together and took me to a movie. We watched Titanic. I remember maddening my best friend, Ryan, because he was exacting at the end of it. The adjoining day the movers finished fisticuffs all of our stuff from our duo story house in Pinson, Alabama. We hopped on a monotonic and flew all the way to Texas. I remember being mournful that I left my exclusively family and friends that had been there with me my whole life. It didnt help that we moved closely two weeks before gear up started and I was very anxious(p) about attending a tame where I knew no one. It didnt help that I had a very thickheaded accent compared to most of the masses in Montgomery, Texas. My first day of school was horrible.

The children called me a backwoods, inherent hick because of how I verbaliseed and everyone was forever postulation me how I pronounced certain words. I was resembling a sideshow in a Circus. Even some of the teachers were asking me things. It made me angry that sneak judged me just because of how I sheded, sooner of judging me based on the person I was. unneeded to say, I didnt talk much at school after that. I study how to disguise my accent by listening to the other kids in class, so that eased my gouge somewhat.
