What is the American day- fancy? The American dream is the traditional genial ideals of the US, such as equality, democracy, and stuff prosperity. In the book The jungle  by Upton Sinclair, Sinclair portrays the American dream as freedom, respect, equality, because that is what one knows to be The American vision Â. When Sinclair immigrated to the united States, his main goal was to gain that American Dream  because from what he heard, America was everything hed ever wanted but when reality hit, Sinclair net that not every low is not exactly as scrupulous as it seems to be. Sinclair amazes to realize that this bully American Dream  isnt much more than a effective gag.\nWhen you think of the American dream you think of great wealth and riches. When Jurgis call for it ond in his floor country he met the have it off of his tone, a girl named Ona at a horse farm. besides unlikely, they didnt have enough coin to unconstipated afford a marriage. Ona and Jurgis recognize that they needed that money to be able to live a successful life and be able to brook married so they contumacious to immigrate to America, Chicago to be precise. Jurgis was quickly able to get a job and because he was a strong spell he easily got a job working with the cattle. In the beginning, America was everything theyd ever imagined until Jurgis realized he was being cheated out of what he thought was the dream long hours, no pay, children abstracted school, being cheated out of his money, and even his testify married woman Ona couldnt recognise time off for her own wedding. More reasons for the two to deal the American Dream is a fraud.\nJurgis then was told by his wife Ona that a man named Conner had attack her which sent Jurgis to rage and arrest Conner just to earn 30 days in tuck away which didnt help anything in their channel to happiness.
